Heated Cat Pad

Whether you have an outdoor or indoor cat, a heated cat pad will be a treat for your kitty that they will love.

Cats have an uncanny ability to detect heat. They have sensitive heat receptors on their face which, as kittens who are born with their eyes closed, enables them to find their mother even without being able to see her.

Every cat owner has observed how contented their kitty is to sit in the warm spot created by the afternoon sun, and how sometimes you find the cat curled up in the strangest places, but usually some place warm, like near a computer. They don't like moving air or drafts, so they will avoid sitting near a heated air vent, but the ideal for every cat is a bed that radiates heat.

Heated cat pads come in a variety of sizes and styles. Some are stiff, and almost like a board, while others are more flexible like a heating pad. Regardless, placing one in their cat bed, or in their cat house, makes a great environment for them to snuggle into.

Be aware that if you intend to use your heated cat pad outdoors, the model needs to be designed to withstand the weather.
